For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.  Proverbs 2:6 (NIV)

Thank you for your interest in membership - we look forward to meeting you and serving you for His glory....

Wisdom Roots is filled with wonderful books from the ‘golden age of literature’. The majority of the books are out-of-print (OOP) or older books waiting to be discovered by a new generation... yet rarely found in public libraries today.

We have 'living books' in all subjects: science, math, the arts, biography, history, fiction, social sciences, literature and more. We do not separate books based on age-level, but include easy readers on a topic right next to books for the older reader--making it simple for a mom with multiple children to find age-appropriate books for her whole family on the same topic.

The wealth of information contained in a ‘living book’ allows readers to develop their imaginations, while learning from authors whose books portray virtues esteemed by Christians.  Arranged primarily by Dewey Decimal Number, with historical fiction included alongside the traditional, chronological history selections, 'living books' provide an opportunity for readers to immerse themselves in the period and identify with the characters living in the history story.

Our books are meant for readers of all ages, whether you are discovering an unfamiliar author or re-discovering a childhood favorite.  Many of our titles are desired by families using Veritas, Sonlight, TruthQuest History, Beautiful Feet, etc. and Five in a Row
Wisdom Roots has bundled core titles from the FIAR curriculum guides together with 4-10 ‘go-along’ books to enhance the unit theme study.  We currently have over 60% of the FIAR titles available, including some books which are OOP and extremely difficult to locate.
Wisdom Roots is not a typical township library, built for the masses, it is our family's private library.  Respectfully, we desire to share our God-gifted collection of books with other families who are in harmony with our foundational beliefs, who are intentional with how they live their lives and impact others around them and who believe in helping to preserve our past for our children's future.
