Before FIAR and Five in a Row Containers
The containers include the core FIAR title along with 4-10+ ‘go-along’ books to enhance the theme of study. Some units also include a manipulative or visual item.

Before Five in a Row and Five in a Row are “literature-based, unit study, curriculum guides which cover social studies and character, language arts, math, science, and art. Literature selections contain positive moral values reflecting Biblical values.” - Rainbow Resource

Shelf Books
Wisdom Roots is filled with wonderful books from the ‘golden age of literature’. The majority of the books are out-of-print (OOP) or older books waiting to be discovered by a new generation. The wealth of information contained in a ‘living book’ allows readers to develop their imaginations, while learning from authors whose books portray virtues esteemed by Christians.

Our books are meant for readers of all ages, whether you are discovering an unfamiliar author or re-discovering a childhood favorite – Wisdom Roots encourages you to read alongside your children. Books are meant to be read!

Welcome to Wisdom Roots Library!

Penny Cooper and her family operate Wisdom Roots Library in Hamilton, New Jersey. Serving the central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania areas, Wisdom Roots is a private lending library primarily for Christian homeschool families.  With almost 4,000 (and growing) books, we serve readers of all ages and interests.  We specialize in vintage and out-of-print (OOP) children's literature from 'the golden age of literature', primarily published prior to the late 1960's.
